Confartigianato: profile and service needs of the members

The research group intends to investigate the characteristics and problems of the management of the trade associations and the need to employ managerial tools to improve the quality of the services provided by the associations to their members. A first line of research is engaging the group in the direction of deepening the knowledge of the members in particular of the graphic category (Confartigianato - Verona) and of defining the needs of services. Specifically, it investigates forms of business, reference markets, organizational structure, positioning in the production chain, positioning on the market and associative / collaborative and / or network forms. The research aims to discover the cognitive and training needs not expressed by the members of this category and also to explore and stimulate the needs not yet perceived by the entrepreneurs themselves, also in light of the digital transformation of the graphic sector that has redesigned the boundaries and the competitive logic. The project needs a scientific and structured approach given the heterogeneity of the professions represented in the so-called "graphic category" present in Confartigianato. Thinking about the diversity of work in the strict sense of business organization, relationships and desired collaborations, degree of innovation and possible positioning on the markets, it is clear how different the approaches can be depending on whether they are pure graphic desingers, rather than typographers, web designers or photographers, just to name a few included in this category. The research, being designed and conducted by a group of researchers and university professors, guarantees the scientific nature of the research approach and methodology, the transparency of the investigation process and therefore the reliability and validity of the results that will emerge.
