Research groups

The research aims of this research group is to analyze current trends about processes of formulation and implementation of strategy in companies of various size (medium size in particular). The research relevance has been attributed to the greater forecast uncertainty that management has been facing since 2007: the transition from structural risk conditions to structural conditions of uncertainty redesigns strategic processes and partly redefines the concept of strategy itself. Within this project, research activity pays particular attention to the study of the role of assumptions in the process of strategy definition and execution, in the definition and evaluation of economic and financial targets and on the analysis corporate strategy role as driver of specific organizational processes. From the methodological point of view, the research activities are carried out through a continuous critical monitoring of the best scientific literature on the subject and, above all, through the analysis of specially selected case studies, methodology particularly usefulness in assessing qualitative characteristics in organizational settings and in corporate strategy.
