Andrea Beretta Zanoni is Full Professor of Strategic management (SECS-P/07) since 2006.
He graduated in Business Administration at Bocconi University and he held the “Elemond” scholarship for research at the Department of Political and Business Economics of the University of Milan.
He was representative of the Dean or Private Shared Companies, Director of Scientific Teaching Center in Vicenza and Coordinator of the Master Degree in Business Management at University of Verona.
 
Main research interests in the field of business economics focus on:
  • processes of devising business strategy
  • business model structures
  • expert opinion elaboration in strategic fields
  • evaluation of companies goodwill and intangible assets.
He is author or co-author of over fifty scientific publications, in the strategic and evaluative field. He published nine monographs, two of which in the United States.

Formulation and implementation of corporate and business strategy and strategic control
The research aims of this research group is to analyze current trends about processes of formulation and implementation of strategy in companies of various size (medium size in particular).

Strategic control Analysis of the firms’ performance adopting the strategic control point of view. Research activity is focused on the role of assumptions in the process of strategy definition and execution, on the monitoring and evaluation of economic and financial targets and on the analysis corporate strategy role as driver of specific organizational processes. The research activity is based on case study methodology owing to its usefulness in assessing qualitative characteristics in organizational settings and in corporate strategy. Performance management

Process of formulation and implementation of corporate and business strategy Analysis of current trends on formulation and implementation of strategy in companies of various sizes (medium size in particular), considering the relevance that has been ascribed to the transition from structural risk conditions to structural conditions of uncertainty redesigns strategic processes and partly redefines the concept of strategy itself.
