The international research group includes members from the University of Verona, the University of Trento, the University of Innsbruck, and the Nottingham University Business School.
The proposal focuses on analyzing digital and sustainability-oriented new ventures (start-ups) and how these organizations can survive in the medium to long term through collaborative mechanisms with established “traditional” companies. The analysis aims to explore how these traditional firms enhance their capacity for exploration in sustainability by leveraging collaborations with sustainable start-ups.
The research group seeks to investigate the new business models that characterize these organizations and their long-term sustainability. Additionally, the study aims to deepen the understanding of collaboration dynamics between sustainability-oriented tech start-ups and traditional companies, analyzing the factors influencing the success and longevity of such partnerships. The goal is to understand how these collaborations foster innovation and support established firms in addressing the challenges of the ecological and digital transition.
