Course organization
The whole of this course aims at outlining the social and economic transformation in Europe between eighteenth and nineteenth century. This section will be focussed on that part of economic history which illustrates the start, in the eighteenth century, of the agricultural and manufacturing transformations leading to the industrial revolution.
The program of the course deals with the economic phenomena connected with the English industrial revolution, and with the intellectual and political movement which went together these events.
Frontal lectures, aiming at explaining the main issues of the program.
