Alice Francesca Sproviero is Assistant Professor of Accounting since 2020. She received her PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Verona in 2019. In 2017, she was visiting PhD student at the School of Management of Royal Holloway, University of London (UK). In 2019, she was visiting scholar at the School of Business and Management of Royal Holloway, University of London (UK). She was invited to hold a research seminar at the Portsmouth Business School (Portsmouth University, UK) in 2019.
 
Her main research interests focus on:
  • Integrated reporting;
  • Corporate accountability and legitimacy;
  • Social-environmental scandals and disclosure;
  • Big Data in reporting and auditing.
Her publications are mainly positioned in peer-reviewed international scientific journals such as Journal of Intellectual Capital, Journal of Management and Governance and Financial Reporting. She is also co-author of book chapters indexed ISI Web of Science.
In 2017, she received a Special Mention in the "Best Junior Contribution to the Intangibles and IC Theory and Practice Award". In 2019, she won a research grant financed by the Società Italiana Docenti di Ragioneria e di Economia Aziendale (SIDREA) for the development of a scientific article on integrated reporting.

In terms of Third Mission, she participated to the “European Researchers’ Night” in 2017 and held two seminars at the Department of Business Administration in 2019 and in 2020, respectively. Further, in 2020, she held a seminar within the Projects of Orientation and Tutoring organized by the University of Verona.

Integrated reporting
The research group investigates the Integrated Report (IR) as an innovative paradigm of external reporting that allows to incorporate sustainability issues in a holistic view of the company, by combining financial and non-financial information.
