My research project explores the concept of twin transition, which integrates digital transformation and sustainability within firms. It focuses on how companies can respond to increasing stakeholder demands by developing strategies and business models that combine both dimensions. The study adopts a multilevel perspective, analyzing inter-organizational, organizational, and individual aspects.
At the organizational level, it investigates how the twin transition emerges and whether firms begin with digital or sustainable strategies. At the inter-organizational level, it examines how firms collaborate with partners to achieve competitive advantage. At the individual level, it analyzes the emergence of new roles supporting this transition.
The methodology combines qualitative interviews with quantitative data, such as surveys and LinkedIn analysis.
Overall, the goal is to provide insights for managers and policymakers in implementing effective twin transition strategies.

Aurora Zigiotto è Dottoranda di ricerca in Accounting e Management presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona (Dipartimento di Management). Interessata fin dai primi studi universitari ai temi legati all’organizzazione aziendale, è impegnata in un progetto di ricerca orientato all’identificazione delle implicazioni organizzative conseguenti all’adozione di una strategia di twin transition.
